Hello! A bit about me:

My name is Ottilia Hedencrona, I’m 21 and I dream about opening my own restaurant. I’m from the west coast of Sweden and I’ve always have a passion for food and photography.

For the past couple of years I have worked in kitchens across in Europe, and in 2015 I spent 4 months in Florence studying Italian gastronomy.

I’m passionate about creating simple food, made with local produce, that taste good and that inspires others. I still remember the first cook book I was given as a birthday gift - one of Jamie Oliver’s first books - and after that I was hooked. As soon as I got my first job in the restaurant business everything fell into place; I love working with people, learning new things and exploring the world through different types of food.

I grew up in a house filled with big dinner parties as my mum loves cooking, and she has taught me lots. I want to cook for people or maybe a restaurant were I can learn more and get a chance to show what I’m good at, and whilst I still dream about my own restaurant on the beach somewhere, serving up seasonal Italian food, this website will be my start. Here I can share what I cook for friends or when I cater for people, and the next restaurant that hires me!

I want to travel the world to explore, and share my food journey. Next stop Ireland!
